Participating School Registration

In our shared commitment to provide high-quality education to all students in the Cleveland and Northeast Ohio area, a group of independent, charter and district schools join together to create a recruitment event to attract and hire teachers and school leaders who reflect the diverse populations of students and families that our schools serve.  If you share our belief in the power and additional impact that a teacher or leader can have when he or she shares experiences in common with his or her students, we hope you'll join us for this specialized event. This could come as a result of a similar racial, cultural, economic and/or religious background or from being a part of the LGBTQ community.

The pool of candidates in 2019 brought several schools high-quality new hires!  The Event Committee has focused efforts this year on expanded networking in order to increase the number of candidates for you to meet.  We look forward to your participation!

$300 per participating school/district includes:

  • Online resume search
  • 2 representatives and 1 table (for an additional $100 each school/district may bring 2 additional reps and will be provided with 1 extra table)
  • Continental breakfast
  • Wi-fi
  • Lunch

Rules of Engagement

  • No more than 2 reps per school (4 with additional fee)
  • No outreach to candidates before the event- Sponsor schools will follow-up post registration
  • No interviews outside of designated time frame
  • No offers at the recruitment event
  • Must hold to 20 minute interview slot
  • No group interviews

Event Details

9:00 - 9:30 AM: Schools Sign-in and Set-up, Continental Breakfast (10th floor)

9:30 - 10:30 AM: Interactive Workshop about Employee Engagement (10th floor) Optional

10:45 - 12:00 PM: Meet & Greet (10th floor) includes Schools and Cleveland Connection groups

12:00 - 1:15 PM: Lunch (provided on-site for participating schools)

1:15 - 4:05 PM: Seven interview slots

*Time adjustments may occur prior to the event, however all the components will remain!

New this year!

An interactive workshop is available for participating schools and districts to discuss how to create an environment that encourages faculty and staff to bring their whole selves to work. The guided session will allow information- and idea-sharing, with opportunity to tap into the collective experience and expertise in the room to grow your school’s resources and knowledge. This will take place from 9:30 to 10:30 am, just prior to the meet and greet time with candidates.
